NQ 8-26

strong NQ price action today.  I had to good trades today but there was a flag on the play for the first one.  I had my dom in sim mode which is more like a safety switch on a gun.  You locate target, cock the gun, point and aim then pull the trigger but only to realize the safety is still on. So thats how it felt on the first trade this morning.  Of course this would never happen on a losing trade only on the winners  ;)

Making sure I dont get too caught up in the moment but I did feel this week I moved forward in my trading journey.  I'm starting to execute mores trade (sometimes too many) but i proved to myself i can trade better when I trading and not hiding under a rock.  Wednesday was a tough day and I was down at that point about $350.  Thats a big weekly loss for me but I stepped up and fought back to positive territory this week.  This is good for my confidence which has lacked for so long.  I heard something early this week that helped me push forward. A quote from the movie Rocky 6

    Well done. Great effort to pull back from the drawdown. This will provide a great boost to confidence in both yourself & your strategy. Nice work.
